Scope
This policy covers the Chronoix apps for iPhone and Apple Watch, the catalog service the apps download from, and support emails you send us.
The short version
Chronoix sells watch face designs for Apple Watch. Your Health data is read on your iPhone and Apple Watch and is never uploaded to us. There is no Chronoix account. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics, and we do not sell or share your information.
Health and fitness data
With your permission, Chronoix reads the Health categories your watch faces display. Depending on the dial, these can include: steps; walking and running distance; flights climbed; active and resting energy; exercise time; stand time; time in daylight; Activity rings and their goals; heart rate; resting heart rate; walking heart rate average; heart rate variability; respiratory rate; cardio fitness (VO₂ max); walking steadiness; walking speed; walking step length; headphone audio levels; and your most recent workout.
Chronoix uses this information for one purpose only: to draw those values on your watch face and keep them current. Chronoix does not write to Apple Health, upload your Health data, sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone.
To keep the watch face readable between readings, the most recent values are held in Chronoix's own app storage on your devices. They are replaced as new readings arrive, and they are removed when you delete Chronoix from that device.
You can change Health access at any time on your iPhone: open Health, tap your profile picture, then under Privacy open Data Access & Devices and tap Chronoix. Turning a category off does not remove anything already stored in Apple Health; the corresponding value on your watch face will show a dash instead.
Chronoix shows Health and fitness information for personal reference. It is not a medical device and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or emergencies.
Apple Watch battery
Chronoix can read your Apple Watch battery percentage to show it on a dial. It is read from the watch, not from Apple Health, and it stays on your devices.
The catalog service
To show the store and download the dials you buy, the app connects to catalog.fanawatch.app, our catalog service, which is delivered by Cloudflare. These requests carry no Health data and no Apple Account information.
Like any provider that delivers content over the internet, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical details of each request, such as your IP address and request headers, in order to route and protect it. Our catalog service does not build user profiles and does not associate requests with a person.
Purchases
Apple handles every purchase, payment method, restoration, refund, Family Sharing and Ask to Buy. Chronoix receives only the confirmation that unlocks a dial for you. We never receive your card number or your Apple Account password. Apple's own practices are described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
What Chronoix stores on your devices
Chronoix keeps the minimum it needs to work, on the device itself: which dials you bought, the design and artwork of your installed dials, cached store content, the state of the connection to your watch, and technical logs for diagnosis. None of it is used to track you across apps or websites.
Deleting Chronoix from your iPhone clears what it stored there. Deleting it from your Apple Watch clears the watch's own separate storage. Because Chronoix has no account, there is nothing to delete on our side.
Support
If you email us, we receive your message, your email address, and anything you choose to include — such as the app version, your watch model, connection status, and which dial you were installing. Those technical details are written into the email before it is sent, so you can read them and delete any line you prefer not to send. They never contain Health values or Apple Account information.
We use that information only to answer you. We keep support emails for 12 months and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete yours earlier by writing to support@fanawatch.com.
No accounts, advertising, or tracking
Chronoix has no account system. It contains no advertising, no advertising identifier, no behavioral profiling, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. It includes no analytics, crash-reporting, social, or login SDKs from third parties.
Children
Chronoix is not directed to children, and it has no account through which a child could register with us. If you believe a child sent us personal information by email, write to support@fanawatch.com and we will delete it.
Security
Your information is protected by the app sandbox, storage encryption, and Health permissions that Apple's operating systems provide, and by encrypted connections to the catalog service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to how we handle it.
In practice, the only personal information Chronoix holds is the content of support emails you have sent us. To exercise any of these rights, write to support@fanawatch.com. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Changes
We update this policy when the product or the law changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
